Joint ALA Information Institute Policy Tool Announced
On April 25, the American Library Association (ALA) announced the debut of a statistical tool for library advocates, the result of a partnership between the ALA Office for Information Technology Policy and the Information Institute at the FSU College of Information.
The State Statistics Module is "an interactive website containing information about broadband connectivity in libraries that allows for the creation of customized reports, based upon 11 variables from the Institute's "2006 Public Libraries and the Internet Study."
